What natural elements help guide you in your art?

Since I'm new at this, I thought I had added an explanation of this, but apparently it didn't take...and I couldn't figure out how to edit it. ANYWAY, titled, "Circle of Bones", my history of this work comes from bones collected on a backwoods hike with my dogs in the coastal range of Oregon. Very primordial, it speaks to our vast history as humans and how we are all connected with the earth in some way. I am always inspired by weathered finds, both natural and man-made that I discover to put into my art originals!
