Description
In his final year, David decided he wanted his body of fairy work to have a bit more strangeness, so he created a number of anthropomorphized insects who occasionally wandered into paintings. This distinguished gentleman grasshopper was a particular favorite.
Note that the paper is white. The grey tinge is a product of the photographic process.
