Trial Reel experiments - tl;dr: you should do them if you aren't yet

For the last two+ weeks I've been posting a trial reel almost everyday. It was kind of burdensome at first, but honestly, once you get going with it, they are great. If you don't feel into it on a certain day, then just do something low effort. It might hit anyway, and if it's bad, no one will see it. But it's taught me a lot about the reel algorithm in a very hands-on, me-specific way.

I haven't had any stellar hits, but my average engagement is way up with them. And they are much more efficient for getting followers. Probably the most consistent way I've tried so far.

Below are my recent reels. In the second pic you can see my "hits" I've shared to my main feed and the first pic is the "graveyard." More successes than misses! Try them if you haven't yet!
