Structuring a giveaway reel so people actually watch it

I want to run a giveaway for one of my character design prints and announce it through a reel, but I keep second guessing the structure. Do I lead with the prize right away so people don't scroll past? Or do I hook with something visual first, maybe a quick timelapse of the piece, then reveal the giveaway details?

I also don't know where to put the entry rules. Middle of the reel? End card? Text overlay the whole time? Every giveaway reel I see seems to do it differently and I can't tell what actually keeps viewers long enough to enter.

For anyone who has done this before, what order did you lay things out in, and did anything specific make a noticeable difference in how many people participated?

In my experience, opening with a face made the biggest difference when I tried something similar to promote a small print run. I had a friend hold the piece up and say a quick line about it being a giveaway, basically just enough to keep people from scrolling. That human element at the start seemed to hold attention way longer than jumping straight into a timelapse or text card. After that hook I showed the piece itself and put entry details toward the end, which felt natural. One thing I wish I'd done differently the first time was keeping the caption cleaner. I wrote out a full URL that nobody could even click. Just pointing people to the link in your bio works so much better and looks less cluttered.
