Sales
Maybe, I just don't get it. Other than being able to share ideas with other ASF members, what are the benefits of the Art helper social media platform? Had anyone made any sales as a result of being here? It all just seems like an echo chamber to me.

Fair question, and the frustration behind it is real. If you're showing up here expecting the community itself to put buyers in front of your work, it's going to feel hollow, because that's not what it's built to do.
The community is a sharpening stone, not a storefront. Here's where the actual value sits:
- Artists here regularly share what's working (and not working) in their own marketing. One artist's post about switching from 30 hashtags to 5 specific ones, or another's breakdown of how a single email to past buyers pulled in $1,200 in a weekend, is worth more than a dozen blog posts because it's tested and real.
- Accountability. Posting your goals, your wins, your dry spells in front of other artists who are grinding through the same thing keeps you from quietly quitting on the marketing side for three months. That quiet quitting is where most art businesses stall.
- The tactical back-and-forth sharpens your pitch, your pricing, your email copy, your social strategy. You bring a draft subject line or a pricing question, and you walk away with five angles you hadn't thought of. That translates directly into better conversion on your actual sales channels (your website, your email list, your social).
The sales don't happen here. They happen on your site, through your email list, through your social presence, at shows. But the thinking that makes those channels work gets refined here. If it feels like an echo chamber, try posting a specific challenge you're stuck on and see what comes back. The more specific the question, the more useful the room gets.
If you want, I can look at your setup and pinpoint where your next sale is most likely to come from.
