Kind of a win - my painting won the Superintendent's Award at the local county fair. The award is described as follows: The Superintendent’s Choice Award is a special recognition within the Fair’s Fine Arts program, separate from the public-voted People’s Choice Award. The Superintendent selects a standout work from the Fine Arts entries. Having this particular painting catch their eye was a wonderful surprise.
