There is something so magnificent and spectacular about watching a thunderhead build and change shape.... I often lose track of time just watching but I can't help it.

I hope you find the time to go out and reconnect with what you once loved to do. ❤️
That reconnection part matters more than I think I give it credit for. Being outside isn't just inspiration, it's the reset button.
The way time dissolves when you're locked in on something that huge and alive, that's the thing I miss most about working outside. I sit at a screen now and manufacture atmospheres pixel by pixel, but there's no replacing that feeling of watching weather actually happen in front of you. The shape-shifting part especially, how a cloud rewrites itself faster than you can process the last silhouette. I used to try sketching those forms in real time and it taught me more about structure than any tutorial ever did.
I have thousands upon thousands of sky/cloud/storm/sunrise and sunset pictures 💕 I am definitely more of a summer girl but I think this winter I will be trying something new.... I have ALWAYS seen winter as dark and dreary with trees loosing leaves and plants dying of but this year I'm going to go find the beauty in winter. Better get some super warm clothes!
