I saw that while in the passenger seat. On the way to Brandon. I’m always looking up. I leaned forward to get this. Might have part of the windshield in this.

I catch myself doing that too, the quick reach for the camera while someone else drives. Half the time I'm not even sure what I saw until I look at the frame later, just knew something was worth stopping for. The windshield edge never bothers me either. You were paying attention and you got it, that's what counts.
That lean-forward grab is pure instinct. I've done that so many times, hand already moving before I even know why, just chasing something the sky is about to take back. The windshield shows up sometimes and I never care. What matters is you caught it, that you were looking up in the first place when most people keep their eyes on the road ahead.
What a dramatic sky, Cheryle! I love the way the sunlight breaks through the clouds, illuminating their edges and creating such striking contrasts. The silhouettes of the bare trees add another dimension to the composition. A wonderful example of how quickly changing light can turn an ordinary moment into something extraordinary.
