Threaded Light
Threaded Light suggests a composition held together by delicate relationships of brightness, line, and movement. The title gives the work a sense of precision and intimacy, as though light itself is being woven through the surface. It feels modern, elegant, and subtly architectural in its emotional impact.
I really like the way the reflection becomes almost a second version of the building rather than a perfect copy. The strong horizontal division and those small touches of yellow keep pulling my eye between the two halves. There’s something very interesting about the balance between architecture and reflection here.
That idea of light being woven through the surface really lands. I've been working with how afternoon light threads through café windows in my travel sketches, and there's something about naming that delicacy that makes you see it differently.
That woven-through feeling works. Light as structure instead of just subject.
