Hi everyone, I’m joining from Virginia, where I collect and preserve vintage natural-history prints, especially orchids, birds, and botanical studies. I love the quiet stories and careful detail in each piece, and I’m looking forward to meeting fellow artists here.

I've spent years watching how a flea-market print differs from a museum one, and it's always the handling that tells the story. The small tears, the way the color shifts at the edge where someone's thumb held it. Your orchids and birds carry that same attention, I imagine, the kind that notices what preservation actually means. Not just keeping something pristine, but keeping the hours inside it.

The quiet-stories instinct in vintage prints is exactly what makes preservation work matter. I chase similar air in my own frames, just with living landscapes instead of archived ones. Stick around, Wes.
