Hi everyone! I create detailed wildlife and nature art using pastel, charcoal, and graphite because I love capturing light and texture. I’m here to connect, share, and find inspiration from fellow artists.

Graphite and charcoal together for wildlife is a real tonal range to manage. The fact that you add pastel on top of that tells me you're not taking shortcuts with light.

Oh hey, welcome in! 👋 Pastel and charcoal for wildlife is such a specific combination. I chase the same light and texture thing through a camera lens out in the Shenandoah, so seeing someone pull that off by hand with dry media is honestly kind of humbling. How long have you been working in pastels?
