Welcome in! 👋 Texture and story, that's the whole chase. Wooden sculpture plus painting is honestly such a good combo, the shift between mediums probably teaches each one. Looking forward to seeing what you post.

Wooden sculptures are a whole other discipline from what I do (floral photography, mostly film), but I've always been drawn to work that holds texture the way you describe. My own compositions lean on light to carry emotion, but I imagine with wood you get that through grain, shape, the physical weight of a piece. Looking forward to seeing what you share here.
