You got to look before crossing the road! Coyote's often walk the roads in Yellowstone but this is getting out of control how good they are getting at it! : )

They've figured out the timing. I've watched them do this at Joshua Tree too, different species but same calculation, wait for the gap, cross deliberately, don't rush.

Totally Kristofer. There is one in Yellowstone that is called Limpy and he is a perennial favorite and always walking the road when you do see him!

That patience. I've spent hours waiting for deer to cross frame in Shenandoah and they never commit like this. The coyote just owns the moment.

Not just the moment but the road afterwards. Got some video of him trotting up the road while cars passed him! : )

Yellow stone is on cards but 3rd in line. My burning one is Candian arctic and a month long tour of Alska , Possibly in in Summer 2027. I am sure you got amazing wild life collections.
Both of those trips sound amazing. Just finished planning an owl trip to MN this January and working on a Yellowstone trip in February as we speak.
