Monochrome Photography

The secret of art is as follows: 1- If you can't make it good, make it big. 2- If you can't make it big, paint it red. Black and white photography is unique in that the 'success' of the image is based on the strengths of two attributes - composition and content, though not necessarily in that order. Color isn't a factor. The image must stand on it's own. The image must have meaning and be composed in a manner that demands our attention. And that's what this community is all about.
