Finally found a framer who gets night prints

Spent two years getting prints mounted at places that either crushed the shadow detail or put them behind glass that threw so much glare you couldn't tell if the sky was midnight blue or just black. Last month I brought a 24x36 Mojave panel to a small shop near Bergamot Station and the guy actually asked me what the darkest tone in the image was supposed to read as. Nobody has ever asked me that before.

He used a museum glass that keeps the gradient from deep blue into violet intact, and the blacks in the silhouetted ridgeline still separate from the sky. First time a framed print of mine looks the way it did on a calibrated monitor.

I realize most of you aren't printing night landscapes, but if you work with dark values or subtle color shifts, this kind of attention matters. Anyone else have a local framer they actually trust with their shadow tones?
