The color temperature shift in the sky reads really well against that cooler foreground. Hard to nail that end-of-day glow without going too saturated, and you kept it grounded.

Thank you...I was trying to capture a sense of melancholy and the cool foreground helped with that I think.

That last light before the blue takes over. I know that exact window, maybe ten minutes total if you're lucky. Shot something similar at a lake in Michoacán once and botched it trying to meter for both the horizon and the sand, ended up with neither quite right. You nailed the exposure.
