Thank you, Devon. That clean transition was what made me stop and take the photograph — the water changes colour so quickly as it becomes shallower here.

That gradient from the deep water out to where it goes almost mint near the shore, you nailed it. The Atlantic does that thing where it refuses to be one color, and you let every shift happen instead of trying to simplify it down. The rocks anchoring the bottom third keep it from floating off.
Thank you, Nora. That changing palette is exactly what caught my eye — the Atlantic here can shift from deep blue to turquoise and almost green within just a few metres. I wanted to keep those natural transitions rather than simplify them.
