89 cents/lb takes me back to 1962, working at a roadside stand where I helped the Morimotos sell fruits and vegetables from their truck farm in Westminster, California. I earned 35 cents an hour. Created with magazine scraps mounted on foam core board, this piece captures the charm of that rustic stand, with hand-painted signs for peaches, cider, and honey adding warmth. It's a tribute to simple moments, hard work, and the beauty of everyday life.

PRELUDE

Known as 'The Wanaka Tree' this is a location on the South Island of New Zealand which has become iconic. I chose a different approach to portraying the scene which I absolutely love.

This piece is titled "Passionate Walk" it was inspired by my love of watching couples tango, in particular after my husband took me to see "Tango After Dark". Its a mixed media oil painting 23"x44"x2.5"

The title is "Carnaval" is a 16" x 20" fabric art. I don't if this my best but people has stopped and returned to look at this piece. Yet, it has not sold for some reason.

When I flick through my art on my website or portfolio I can't help but stop and have another long look . My Artwork still fascinates me like it's not my own . I think due to going into a bit of a trance while I create , I always love looking at them the next day, dry and complete . New faces pop out of them or animals every time. The are wild, bold , calming and different . They are me.

#B.L.U.E-R.E.D

The artwork B.L.U.E / R.E.D explicitly evokes the foundational pill scene in The Matrix. The choice, presented as binary, becomes a visual construction made of film cells from the Matrix trilogy. By embodying the digital dilemma using an analog medium, I attempt, in the era of artificial intelligence, to highlight the profoundly biased and conditioned nature of technological choice.

This work highlights the silent presence of a child, through a gaze that is at once gentle, frontal, and deeply attentive. It is not simply a portrait, but a meeting: that of a sensitivity still intact, capable of perceiving the world with intensity, without hardness or cynicism.

Through the textures, the transparencies, the traces of color and the delicacy of the face, Le Regard Clair evokes a beauty that is fragile yet essential. A beauty that does not seek perfection, but that carries a living presence, made of nuances, depth and humanity.

This painting speaks of what we choose to preserve in ourselves: our capacity to be moved, to recognize harmony, to remain open to what connects us to the living. It invites us to slow down, to look differently, and to rediscover that sensitive part that still knows how to see beauty where it resides.
