I took this photo in a place of exceptional beauty on Mount Pangaion, in Eastern Macedonia, Greece, in October 2020, where the stream forms waterfalls and small pools that are perfect for a refreshing dip.

"Autumn's Siren" Oil on Canvas

This oil painting, Luna is my interpretation of the ancient Chinese story of Chang-e. She dances beneath the moon before taking the elixir of immortality and flying to the Moon Palace, where the Jade Rabbit becomes her companion. For me, this old Mid-Autumn story becomes a world between myth, memory, solitude, and dream.

I can smell the warm apple and cinnamon pastry already.
