Honestly? It depends on the buyer. Some collectors specifically want digital-native work that looks like it could only exist on a screen. But if you're selling prints of digital art, yeah — pieces that have some warmth and texture tend to convert better. The ones that feel cold and "computer-made" sit longer. That's not a judgment on the art, it's just how buyers behave right now.
Thanks! That's definitely what I've noticed at events. My prints that were done digitally but retain some of the "brush strokes" typically sell better. But I've noticed that more digital looking art looks amazing on metal. 😄
Everything looks beautiful on metal. That is for sure. But you never know.
It's different for everyone. You've got to just get it out there, get feedback, and double down on what works, less so on what doesn't. It literally is: there's no one recipe that works for everybody.
