Showing the beach to foredune portion of succession, the trail provides the complete story. I will be posing more of this succession in my third forthcoming book.

Thanks Reilly. The Indiana Dunes succession landscape along Lake Michigan's eastern shore has become a long-term photographic and environmental study for me. I’m continuing to document the evolving relationship between dune movement, ecology, weather, and seasonal change — work that will likely grow into a larger future project.
