March 26, 2026: Wildlife & Nature Photographer Rick Thome!

Post image 1

@Rick Thome doesn't chase wildlife – he waits for it. The Minnesota-based nature photographer has built his practice around one idea: freeze the moment exactly as it happened. The light, the movement, the stillness. Every shot is a document. From his local parks to wild corners of the globe, Rick travels with patience and a strict code – no stress on his subjects, no trace left behind.

His landscapes are just as intentional. Deliberate color harmony, shadow and light framed with purpose, every shot either pulling you into quiet calm or the raw edge of nature. Rick's photos don't just show you the outdoors – they put you there.

March 11, 2026: Southwestern Painter Lindy Cook Severns!

Post image 1
Seventh-generation Texan. Pilot. 4th-degree black belt. Painter of skies that stop you cold. Lindy Cook Severns spent over two decades chasing sunsets before putting down roots in Central Texas. Largely self-taught, her instantly recognizable style bursts with color, energy, and emotional depth. She was honored as the 2020 Distinguished Alumni for the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas Tech University and featured on PBS as an innovator in Western art. Every experience feeds her brush – the cockpit, the dojo, the wild country. As she puts it: "It's only paint. Yet, when applied with loving skill, paint can generate magic that soars far beyond the canvas." 📸 Follow her on ArtHelper: https://www.arthelper.com/lindy-c-severns 🔗 Explore her work: lindycseverns.com
