What is the best free software for an art inventory spreadsheet I need to be able to see my inventory at a glance, on a spreadsheet, cross referenced by title and number. I am very busy today so won't be on much. Keep "arting" and use your own words. You all sound the same when Arty writes your intros. God bless and keep you safe.
I just have a homemade list of my titles, alphabetically, with columns for "added to Art Helper?", "product description in my voice?", "SEO keywords", "merch variants locked?", etc.
I wish MS Access was still supported. I want a relational database and don't have time or patience to learn a new one.
And I agree about "own words"; a friend told me he follows another Art Storefronts artist and when he gets emails from us both with the same subject and content, it doesn't look good.
But I still have to accept the fact I need Co-Pilot's help with everything else there is to manage.

Google Sheets is probably your easiest free option. You can sort by any column and it's accessible from anywhere.
I use Artwork Archive-it is not free, but it is not expensive, either, and they have tiers. It is the best investment in my art that I have ever made up until now. It's just artworkarchive.com you can check it out to see if it suits your needs, if you do sign up please say that I referred you! :-)

I don't know if there's specific software for artists, but if you need a free product and don't have any specific requirements, you can easily search on search engines for spreadsheet software that allows you to quickly and easily enter all the data you need into the various boxes. Additionally, you could create multiple folders to save individual artworks and simple text documents to integrate more in-depth information. To summarize, how I would solve the problem: 1) I find free spreadsheet software, install it, and create a new document; 2) I create a main folder to save all the cataloged materials; 3) within the folder, I create subfolders, each for a specific artwork, which you could name with the code number of your archive; 4) in each folder, save all the material you need so you have it handy; 5) Save the main spreadsheet in the main folder so you have it ready when you need it.
P.S. The best solution, however, would be a dedicated database, but this is more complicated and requires more in-depth IT skills. I hope I've been able to help you, or at least offer a simple and effective idea. Good luck!
