I began with a two toned base, representing the known and the unknown, then, Using iridescent paints and a blowdryer, I felt myself escaping the known boundaries of the world and setting myself free into the unknown beauty of what can be!

Pink is an instant attraction and you presented it well in this piece. A hair dryer is critical to freeze active processes and it is an often used tool in my art making. Enjoying the outburst created here.
That shift from structure into letting the air take it, there's a real moment happening there. The iridescent catch is doing work you probably didn't plan for, which is usually when things get interesting. I spent years trying to control every gradient in my landscapes before I figured out the good stuff happens when you stop gripping the wheel so hard. This has that release in it.

Using iridescence and movement to push past known boundaries is a bold move. The contrast between your structured base and the escape into the unknown comes through.

That moment when the blowdryer takes over and the paint starts doing its own thing, you're just along for the ride. I had a similar feeling years ago when I stopped trying to control every frame in the field and let the wind, the light, the weather make half the decisions. The iridescent layer catching different angles must give this so much movement in person.
