I drew this from an actual picture of my grandparents sitting on steps of their High School. I believe the picture was made in 1954 or 1955. It was one of my granny’s favorite photos.

That lampshade glow hitting the corner of the frame is perfect. I keep staring at how the beading catches just enough light without washing out, it's the kind of warm you can't fake with a filter.
