Hi Bill, this is where it landed and I’m thinking I should mute or break up the right lower orange for composition accuracy… but then again I do love it.

That grain on the hull is beautiful. I spend most of my time shooting in the dark, so seeing craft that lives entirely in daylight and texture like this is grounding. What kind of wood are you working with?

That wood grain is really something. I spent years shooting boats on the Chesapeake and never quite nailed the way varnish catches afternoon light like that. The reflection work here is tight.

Thank you. I struggle with knowing if it’s good enough and I need to add some refinements to the boat hulls and add a few small elements to the background to incorporate the boat hull into the background and wheels
