Hi Adrian I want to thank you for your reply. Do you have any questions about the material I am using? Did you have an emotional response to the piece? Did you wonder what the character is thinking? Did you notice I provided the viewer with a drink?😉
I am not particularly interested in the material (which never makes the art; the artist does). I simply reacted to the gold lines defining nicely the yellow shit.
Now, if I have to get technical, I should mention that leaving the color background in your photograph is distorting the overall composition, making the artwork itself look different than it actually is (see my photo)
Anyone (including me) critiquing this will inevitably inject their artistic choices into your art, and that will make your art less... yours!

I like the colors and the negative shapes. It makes me wonder whats on his mind?
