The angled rope to hold in the light portions is the successful tension in keeping the focus centered into the artwork. The purple shapes on the left complete the containment structure.

The title alone catches the feeling, there's something about work made in that breathing-space between weather. Mixed media gives you options for layering that straight paint doesn't, and I'm curious what you used to build it up.
