Best buds
This was a commission of the family's two pet who were inseparable. I managed to get plenty of reference photos in between 'tug of war' and 'who's got the tennis ball'. This was a compilation from those into this one image. Super fun project. Colored pencil on museum board. 12x16.

Gus... this time with a photo
Gus is just the best boy and i love it when he comes in to visit in the bedroom. He doesn't mind a messy bed and he's especially fond of sunbeams. The only thing he likes more is watching birds and whatever is going on outside his window. This is a new watercolor celebrating his last visit.

Grey Fox
These Grey Foxes are common here and I've gotten a lot of images of them on my camera traps since I started setting them up in the mountains of Southern Utah. This one turned out really well. I love how he's posed! But the fill light on the right stopped working shortly after this photo was taken. (Some water got inside.) It's been sent in for repair and hopefully I'll be able to get it put back out soon. I do plan on mounting it higher for a more natural looking top down light.

Bernese Brothers
Taking the photos for this commission was challenging, and required several sqeaky toys and tennis balls. Ultimately, I worked with them separately and combined numerous shots into this one narrative image. What a fun experience!
