With an impressive height of 195 cm, Matrix – The Germ Cell of Form is the monumental centerpiece of the series System: Bodies in Becoming. The work emphasizes the vertical presence of the human body and translates it into an abstract, tactile cartography of emergence.
The narrow portrait format feels like a stele of human becoming. The viewer is confronted with a complex layering that recalls biological structures, neural networks, and archaic blueprints. Fine, white lineations run like nerve fibers over earthy textures and deep shadows, creating enormous spatial depth.
