Rhino on the Hatchback

Description

A black rhinoceros balances atop a small white car in this witty, unexpected scene set beside a brick industrial wall. Two passersby and a small dog add a curious everyday contrast to the oversized animal, while the yellow skip and muted surroundings ground the scene in a familiar streetscape. Its dry humor and unusual composition bring a distinctive touch to a wall in your home.

Artiste

I paint beachfronts, familiar landmarks and artist homages with warmth, vivid colour, and a touch of quiet humour. My work (hopefully) includes wonder in everyday places and the unexpected in familiar scenes. Usually including a man and his dog.
