v4.4.25
I can’t help but return to my own memories. I think of running through an open place like this when everything was new and the days long enough to hold every possibility. Now the quiet, the wild grass, and the muted colors make those moments feel both distant and like yesterday. And still, it feels like one of those places where, as Scripture says, “surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” God can allow even ordinary ground to carry the weight of what has been lived, loved, and learned. What was once full of motion is still here, held in the kind of remembering that slows us down and makes room for gratitude.
