Description
I painted Lilium Candidum Duet as a diptych that places the same lilies in two distinct light: midday sun, the other by moonlight. The day panel presents warm highlights, fresh greens, and lively reflections in the glass; the night panel leans into cool blues and silvered edges, where petals read like pale lanterns against deep shadow. I kept the composition spare—clear water, visible stems, and a simple tabletop—so color and light do the storytelling.
