Description
This print was inspired by a spring scene encountered while walking the dog on a spring morning. I was influenced by the Ukiyo-e tradition of depicting architecture and atmospheric weather to evoke a sense of place, even as a souvenir. The depiction of a rainy day is a direct influence of these master printmakers of the past.
