Description

As this piece developed, it began to feel like it was beginning to look like birds, or wind tangled in silk or a forest breathing in slow motion. The way the linework swells and contracts gives it a pulse, almost like it’s whispering something just beneath the surface. There's an organic feeling, too. The swirling, ribbon-like forms evoke petals, flames, and wings all at once. There's a mythic energy here—like the spirit of a creature that’s part orchid, part phoenix. The interplay of red, brown, and cream tones adds warmth and depth. There’s tension and release, like a story unfolding without words. The patterns create a hypnotic cadence.
