The Judgment Series is a trilogy of works exploring the complexity of the human interior — the layered, turbulent, and often contradictory world of thought, feeling, and experience that exists beneath the surface of every person. Rooted in an understanding of trauma, resilience, and the profound complexity of the human mind, this series was born from years of witnessing people navigate the most difficult terrain of their inner lives. It is dedicated to all those who have carried more than their share — and to the remarkable, often unseen courage it takes simply to keep standing. The trilogy moves through three distinct but interconnected states of being. Before Judgment captures the raw interior world — pure feeling, unfiltered and unnamed, before the weight of the world's opinion or our own self-criticism shapes what we allow ourselves to feel. Through Judgment places a human figure within that inner landscape — standing in the storm, present and solid, navigating the complexity of lived experience with quiet courage. This painting presents a solitary figure cloaked in black, standing against a backdrop of vibrant, chaotic colors and abstract shapes. The contrast between the dark silhouette and the energetic background conveys a sense of mystery and introspection. The interplay of vivid hues with bold, dark lines reveals a tension between presence and absence. This striking piece introduces depth and intrigue, making it a compelling addition to any space. Hooded, anonymous, still. This figure does not move toward or away — they simply stand and bear witness to the storm of colour surrounding them. There is quiet courage in that stillness. The chaotic background of reds, blues and greens swirls around a figure who has learned that sometimes survival means simply remaining present.
