Ornate Ring on Succulent Leaf

Description

An ornate dark ring rests on the smooth surface of a succulent leaf, its pale scrolling pattern set against the deep band. Soft golden light and a blurred backdrop lend the macro composition a quiet, intimate feel. This nature-inspired image brings a refined touch to a shelf, study, or gallery wall.

Artist

Metalsmith in Providence. Silver and vitreous enamel, small pieces, a lot of colour fired onto metal. Started because I wanted a ring nobody else had and stayed because enamel is unforgiving in a way I find honest. Still crack more pieces than I finish.
