In the summer of 2025 a large forest fire caused significant damage to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park area. I took this picture on the first day that parts of the North Rim were opened back up to the public after the fire caused the park to be completely shut down. When I arrived the canyon was partially filled with clouds and shortly thereafter it completely fogged in. But not before capturing some mystical looking shots like this one.
