BeeSting Sickness

Descrição

A tribute to the brave Ukrainian fighters defending their homeland. This "Turtle Tank" is a nod to the insult their soldiers have for what the Russians do to their tanks in order to fight off Ukrainian Drones. They become unwieldy and slow (not unlike a turtle.) In Bee Sting Sickness, I take a common box turtle and place it inside a Russian Helmet, festoon it with ineffective anti drone attachments and present the viewer with a ridiculous fighting machine. Behind it, a field of bee drones swarm in. The reactions of the Russians is not unlike anaphylaxis (a bee sting sickness) ergo the name.
