Botanical Sketch in Progress

Descrição

Botanical Sketch in Progress depicts an artist developing a finely detailed botanical illustration, pencil in hand. The monochrome composition pairs the intricate foliage on the page with the quiet focus of the creative process. Its thoughtful, studio-like presence makes a refined addition to a reading nook, workspace, or gallery wall.

Artista

Illustrator in Bristol. Graphite and coloured pencil, quiet domestic scenes and the odd portrait. Came to it late after years of telling myself I could not draw, which turned out to mean I had never practised. Perspective is still the thing that catches me out.
