Stillness and Where Peace Lands were painted as companions—two moments within the same breath.
The egret has always symbolized grace and quiet strength for me. In these paintings, she stands as a gentle presence, unhurried and aware, holding space rather than demanding attention. The layered blues, marks, and subtle disruptions reflect life as it truly is—never perfectly calm, yet always capable of peace.
I paint light as a presence, not a destination. Here, light moves through the surface softly, reminding us that peace doesn’t come from everything being resolved. It comes from allowing ourselves to pause long enough to feel grounded again.
These works are meant to live in a space where you begin or end your day—a visual exhale, a place to rest your eyes and your thoughts. A reminder that stillness is available, and peace knows exactly where to land.
