Image display algorithm

Whatever you are doing to images before they get displayed in posts here is murder on image quality. [I'm referring to grabbing existing images from my ArtHelper library in particular. Images brought in from outside can be adjusted to compensate - but then that's a whole set of extra steps.] I'm psycho about how my images look and first impressions and all that good stuff. Every image that goes into a post in the community here is too dark and the colors are desaturated and off. Of all social media sites in the world you would hope that one oriented toward the art market would get this right.
