Portraits are scary - or is it just me?

I don’t consider myself an experienced portrait artist, but I get requested for them a lot so I’ve been practicing. Doing portraits makes me really nervous, but I was really happy with how this one turned out. My favorite part is the Granny squares because I also like to crochet. I really liked how the jean shorts turned out to with the frayed edges.
