Redwing Reverie
After a short convo with Patrick, I put together a test case based on his thoughts as a model for a series I will feature on my web page. This takes its inspiration from the Audubon books. Thoughts, comments or controversies?

I LOVE redwing blackbirds! And this is lovely. I miss living close enough to a wetland to be able to hear them every day. Your idea looks like the start of a beautiful book, too!

Do it! Many birds are going extinct or on the brink. I was thinking. about painting studies of them and utilizing circles and rectangles to include a brief description with name and how close to extinction they are. the circles and rectangles would be reminiscent of old science text books. They often had circles that pointed to areas with blown up images and descriptions. I love the way this is designed. Are they photos? I can't tell as there are some great realistic artists on ASF. I love how you give it its common and scientific name. the type face for the common name is not as readable as I would like. My eyes have a hard time seeing small script, but the type face is elegant.
