Type of paint

Hey Suzanne: I just completed an a couple of large exterior murals in Uganda last July. The plan included locally sourcing seven high grade exterior base outdoor paint colors and mixing. I went with thicker paint with strong pigment that could be cut and mixed.

It was important that the base color of the wall was complimentary to the tones of the whole composition. Blocking in the big shapes with rollers and house paint brushes helped before refining and adding details layers with smaller artist brushes.
