Floating Thoughts is the first Shycap painting. It’s an acrylic on canvas that presents a quiet forest moment. I painted the Shycap mushroom sheltering beneath its cap as steady rain threads the scene; layered greens and soft brushwork let leaves and distant hills fade into mist while droplets bead and fall. The figure represents introspection, looking at my past as if watching from outside myself. The rain marks hard days and the end of a season, while also suggesting a new phase ahead. The mood is calm, serene, fresh and bright; the red cap anchors the composition and conveys quiet resilience and a close connection with nature. A peaceful piece, ideal for a living room, study, or any spot that could use a reflective presence.
