CAREER Contemporary Visual Artist | Painter | Mixed-Media Artist 2002 – Present Adebesin Adedamola is a contemporary visual artist whose practice explores human experiences through figurative painting, mixed media, and expressive mark-making. His work investigates themes of identity, memory, emotions, relationships, social observation, and the complexities of the human condition. Working across graphite, charcoal, pastel, acrylic, and mixed media, he creates layered compositions that combine personal reflection with broader social and psychological narratives. His artistic approach is influenced by literature, philosophy, human behaviour, and lived experiences, translating emotional and conceptual ideas into visual forms. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous exhibitions, art fairs, auctions, and residency-related presentations in Nigeria and Canada. His works have been collected by private collectors and exhibited within contemporary art platforms.
