Description
Sculpted for speed and unmistakably bold, the Lotus Turbo Esprit is a true icon of 1980s automotive design.
With this new artwork, I set out to capture the car’s unmistakable silhouette with minimalist precision, allowing Giorgetto Giugiaro’s sharp lines and wedge profile to speak for themselves.
Inspired by the Esprit’s memorable appearance in 1981’s For Your Eyes Only, this piece presents the car as seen early in the film—its striking white paintwork accented by vivid red details and rendered with authentic touches, such as the BBS alloy wheels, rear screen louvres, precise badging, and the correct number plate.
The scene is set outside Villa Sylva on the island of Corfu, the cinematic home of Cuban hitman Hector Gonzales and the location where the Esprit meets its untimely demise.
Created in Adobe Photoshop with a focus on authenticity and restraint, this limited edition print invites viewers to revisit the world of Bond through fresh eyes.
Whether you’re a collector, film enthusiast, or lover of classic automotive design, this piece is an invitation to celebrate the enduring allure of Agent 007 and his cinematic adventures over the past 60+ years.
