Tree of Life and Death

Description

This atmospheric artwork presents a dramatic golden sunset illuminating a eucalyptus tree so that it transforms into both a human brain and a nuclear explosion above a quiet residential neighborhood. Dark evergreen trees and rooftops create a layered foreground, with the pixillation a reminder that nuclear death will separate the very cells of our being.

I capture atmospheric and sublime photography inspired by landscapes, weather, architecture, and light. From volcanoes and oceans to rainlit abstractions and glowing night scenes, I explore color, mood, and wonder always with an eye on the higher metaphysicality of the scene.
