The 1900s This late Victorian era was renowned for its ornate designs. One such example is a delicate tray cloth I discovered, made of fine cotton with subtle floral embroidery and a charming lace border. Additionally, I came across a beautiful tea service by Blairs China, England. It features an ornate floral design hand-painted on intricately shaped china vessels with finely scalloped edges. The biscuits of this era included Jam drops and chocolate digestives, the latter being a relatively new addition to the biscuit assortment at the time.
